These cookie stamps are carved and finished to provide a lifetime (multiple lifetimes, with care) of use.  Should they need some gentle cleaning, warm water and a soft brush is all that is needed. If you would like to re-oil the stamps, please use either pure teng oil, pure flax seed oil, or pure walnut oil.  These oils are food safe, and, when dry, will harden and provide an excellent protective surface. If you are allergic to tree nuts (like me), use gloves! Please do not put the stamps in a dishwasher, or let them sit in water.
